Showcasing Jessica’s Choice – The Washington State Trails Coalition

Jessica moved up from San Francisco several years ago. She decided 2024 was the year to buy a home in the area. She knew she wanted to be within cycling distance of friends in North Seattle, and really wanted a garage to store all the gear she has accumulated as she has become a Northwest outdoor lover. She was hoping for a 2 bedroom home, but I helped to find her a lovely three bedroom home in Ballard.

When I asked her which charity she would like me to support, she chose two that were close to her heart. One is the Washington State Trails Coalition She said, “I started doing volunteer trail maintenance with the WSTC about 3 years ago. It has made me appreciate our trails so much more. They also introduced me to backpacking via beginner-friendly overnight work parties, and I am so grateful, because I am a much more confident outdoorswoman now, thanks to them!”

The Washington State Trails Coalition works to provide access to trails in Washington that will stand the test of time and inspire explorers, stewards and champions of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. They provide a wealth of trail information on areas and trails to hike based on your experience.
