Showcasing Ivy’s Choice – Feral Cat Project

I sold a another condo in Ivy’s building when Ivy was working with another agent to sell her 1 bedroom 1 bath condo. It was a tough time to sell a 1 bedroom 1 bath condo, and her home didn’t sell. She reached out at the beginning of the year to see if I could help her get it sold. We analyzed the market and listed it for sale at a lower price. We continued to analyze the market to take into account that her building didn’t allow any rentals or large dogs (both these restrictions limit the number of buyers). With constant market monitoring and adjustment, we finally got her home sold.

When I asked Ivy which charity she would like me to support, she chose the Feral Cat Project because she had adopted a cat from a similar shelter that was found as a stray that got hit by a car. The organization not only administered vaccine shots and sterilization, but also addressed her critical condition and gave her a life-changing surgery via a replacement hip bone!

The Feral Cat Spay/Neuter Project is a compassionate nonprofit in Washington that’s been changing lives of cats and people since 1997. Their mission is to end feline homelessness by offering free spay/neuter services for feral cats and affordable care for tame, companion cats. With over 164,000 cats altered so far, they’re creating a healthier, more humane world one cat at a time.
