Showcasing N’s Choice – Parkinson’s Foundation

I met A and J at an open house, and helped them buy their first house. This year I helped them buy their next house and met A’s brother at their housewarming party. N was thinking about buying a home, and called me when a new townhouse caught his interest. We met at the site and looked at all the homes available. It turned out to be a perfect fit! After some negotiation and working with our excellent lender to structure the purchase with seller concessions that brought the interest rate down, we got into contract! N is now a homeowner! I love working with entire families! We are trying to entice A and N’s parents to buy something here…

When I asked N which charity he’d like me to support, he chose the Parkinson’s Foundation. He knows several people living with Parkinson’s and has seen firsthand how deeply it affects their lives. Supporting research that brings us closer to a cure is something that means a lot to him.

The Parkinson’s Foundation is dedicated to improving life for people living with Parkinson’s disease and their families. In addition to advancing research toward a cure, they provide a wide range of education and support services such as a helpline, resources for newly diagnosed individuals, care programs, and guidance for caregivers. At the same time, they fund and conduct scientific research, facilitate clinical studies, and support new treatment development to accelerate progress in understanding and treating Parkinson’s. Their mission emphasizes focusing not only on the science of the disease, but also on the community, connection and practical help needed in everyday living.
