Showcasing Jim and Deanna’s Choice – Mt. Si Senior Center

Jim and Deanna built a wonderful home for their family in the Snoqualmie Valley 24 years ago. They raised their family, hosted numerous family gatherings and parties, and enjoyed many glasses of wine under the most spectacular view of Mt Si. Once their kids had flown the coop and they were empty nesters, they decided it was time for the next chapter in a more manageable home. We talked about their plans for several years ahead of time. They knew their current house wasn’t the place they wanted to retire, but they didn’t know where they wanted to be. One day they found it! We were ready!

When I asked them which charity they would like me support, they chose the Mt. Si Senior Center as they have a soft spot for the elderly as they have aging parents too.

The Mt. Si Senior Center is a welcoming community hub dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults through connection, wellness, and support. Serving the Snoqualmie Valley and surrounding areas, the center offers a wide range of programs including nutritious meal services, fitness and wellness classes, arts and enrichment activities, social events, and essential transportation and resource assistance. With a mission to promote independence, dignity, and quality of life, Mt. Si Senior Center provides a warm, inclusive environment where seniors can stay active, engaged, and supported.
