Showcasing Eric’s Choice – Armdale Yacht Club Broader Reach Program

Eric and Emily needed my to help to sell their father’s condo. Since they both lived on the East Coast, they enlisted my concierge service. I helped them get the condo cleared, cleaned, and fixed up and ready to put on the market. The condo went pending within the week it was listed.

When I asked Eric which charity he would like me to support, he chose Armdale Yacht Club Broader Reach Program. He and his father were avid sailors. The Broader Reach Program’s goal is to expand access to sailing to the broader community in the Halifax Regional Municipality and other communities in Nova Scotia. It helps immigrants and underserved residents engage in a community though free introductory sailing lessons with the belief that sailing is more fun when everyone has access to it. With ideal geography, sheltered waters and world-renowned sailing expertise in Nova Scotia, they make sailing a recreation for the many, and not merely the few.
