Showcasing – Aurora and Andres Choice

Aurora and Andres had become empty nesters and were thinking about a lifestyle change. They originally contacted me to buy a mountain cabin. Their family loves mountain sports, and a cabin seemed like a great place for their family to spend more time there. However, they quickly discovered there weren’t many options within 20 minutes of their favorite places that met their criteria. They shifted gears and decided they’d rather ditch their suburban home with a big yard to maintain and get something closer to restaurants with easier upkeep. They still needed plenty of room for their sports gear and occasional returns of their nearly launched kids. We found the perfect home near old Bellevue. They decided on their charity because Aurora loves mountain biking and wanted to support a group that does so much to make mountain biking better in the region.

Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance is a Washington-based nonprofit dedicated to making the outdoors more accessible, enjoyable, and welcoming for mountain bikers of all ages and skill levels. Through trail building and maintenance, rider education, community events, advocacy, and volunteer opportunities, Evergreen helps create and protect sustainable places to ride throughout the state. Their work brings people together, encourages responsible recreation, and helps ensure that Washington’s beautiful trails can be enjoyed for generations to come.
