Showcasing Eric’s Choice – Maui Food Bank

Eric moved to the beautiful island of Maui a few years ago so that he could enjoy the activities that he loves in his retirement. His sons continued to live at his house until he decided it was time to sell it. I helped him focus on items to be done to get the house prepared for market and listed over the years his sons lived there. Once I helped his son, Max, buy his first home earlier this year, Eric decided it was time to sell the house. We created the final list of projects, and got the house ready within one month. It resulted in multiple offers in just 4 days.

When I asked him which charity he would like me support, he chose the Maui Food Bank. In light of the recent fire that crippled Lahaina, Maui, there is an increased need for food and supplies to help the families of Maui. The Food Bank partners with other local non-profit agencies to provide the residents of Maui County safe and nutritious food. More than 40% of those served are youth and children. They also help families, the working poor, seniors, homeless, and anyone at risk of going hungry. The Maui Food Bank is the only nonprofit in Maui County that collects, warehouses and distributes mass quantities of perishable and nonperishable food items to those in need.
