Showcasing Derrick and Stacy’s Choice – Old Dog Haven

Derrick, Stacy and their adorable dog Herschel just bought a spacious townhouse. Over many years of having dogs and moving around, they heard about Old Dog Haven through all their vets. Old Dog Haven supports senior homeless dogs by placing them in foster homes so that they have a good quality of life before passing. It is a small nonprofit group using a large network of foster homes to provide a loving safe home for abandoned senior dogs in western Washington. When they have room and the means, they take these dogs into their homes. Dogs with a reasonable life-expectancy get adopted out. They care for the rest as family members in permanent foster homes, for as long as they have good quality of life.
